Shipping and Insurance

Insurance Options
Shipping insurance is available on all items shipped during the checkout process. We highly recommend that you take advantage of this service as we can’t guarantee shipped items arriving undamaged due to the actions of the postal and carrier services.

We purposely leave the cost of insurance as an option so that you can choose to pay the extra for insurance against transit damage or save yourself the cost of insurance by taking the risk by not purchasing it.

We do however wish to make you aware that during the transportation and shipping of products such as fairing's kits products do on occasion become damaged. The damage is caused if the boxed products are roughly handled during transit. While the majority of products arrive in pristine condition, the reality is that sometimes products will become damaged due to rough and careless handling while in transit.

Below are some image of the types of shipping damage that can happen during transit from our factory to your door. These are some of the types of damage that our shipping insurance covers you for. Shipping damage examples shown below.

If you choose not to purchase shipping insurance any damaged that's incurred during transit will become your own responsibility. We will do everything in our power to help you replace any items damaged in transit however any associated replacement costs will be your own responsibility,

Insurance is calculated on the value of the items purchased and it enables us to replace items that are damaged by the postal system for you, at no additional cost to you.

Damaged Parts & Returns
Items that are damaged in transit or in the manufacturing process must be reported to Fairing Solutions within 3 working days of delivery. All emails should be sent to info@gagaculture.com.au When reporting shipping damage include pictures of all damaged panels and also pictures outlining the state of the packing including any damage to the box. This will enable us to process your claim faster. Damaged packaging examples shown below.

Purchased items that have been manufactured below the normal acceptable standard for aftermarket replacement parts will either be replaced, or the item refunded.

To enable us to quickly process any damage to your order we require clear pictures that show a full overview of the item or items damaged and also close-up images of any damage for each and every item damaged. Examples shown below.

Shipping Methods
All aftermarket motorbike fairing kits and are produced by our partner factory in China. Once production is complete the finished product is shipped directly from the factory to your door. All fairing kits are shipped using EMS worldwide express mail services.

EMS is our preferred choice for shipping products safely and reliably direct from the factory in China. EMS ships directly to our customers at some of the most competitive price’s available. We rarely hold items in stock as this enables us to avoid double handling and double shipping of items, as this would add to the final cost of items sold, we believe in shipping direct from the warehouse to you

How long does it take to ship a product to me?
Orders are processed on a daily basis and the order is placed with the factory the day the payment is processed and cleared. Every item we have for sale has a 'Read more' link to the products detailed specifications and more information based on the chosen product. The estimated shipping times are shown for each item in the top of the new detailed information window. Each product is unique and has its own shipping times that are dependant on the factory that produces the item and the type of item it is.

Can I combine shipping costs if I buy more than one item?
No, in most cases you cannot combine shipping costs as many items are from a different suppliers and factories. The other issues is that the shipping cost is calculated by weight and volumetric size and cant easily be changed. There are a few exceptions to this rule but generally the answer is no. unless otherwise specified on our website.

Can I pickup the items from you to avoid paying the shipping costs?
No because we ship all items directly from the overseas factory to your door. We purposely do this to save you having to pay hidden costs associated with the standard retailer habit of double shipping and warehousing products. We are a factory direct e-tailer and that's why we always have the lowest prices.

Most products you buy from a standard retail outlet have been shipped multiple times and each time the cost is simply added onto the end price of the item. This means your not directly charged for shipping in the advertised price but you have paid it anyway. FREE SHIPPING is rarely free shipping.

Delays In Shipping
EMS shipments can sometimes be held up by customs processing when they depart the country of origin or when they arrive in the destination country. Fairing Solutions has no control over delays with Customs processing however any delays are usually of a short duration.

Tracking of Purchased Goods
Most items sold are tracked using a unique track and trace EMS shipping number supplied by ems. To be able to properly track the progress of an item you need to allow at least one day after its been sent for its progress to show in the tracking system.

EMS packages can have the status checked by visiting your local countries postal service and entering the tracking number provided. Once an item arrives in the destination country your local postal service will take delivery of the parcel and it is then responsible for delivery of the parcel to your door.

What happens if my fairing kits delivered while I am not home?
If you’re not home to sign for the package then the courier will leave you a calling card to advise you of a missed delivery. You can ring the postal company and have them attempt a re-delivery or collect the item from the postal depot yourself.

Note: If after one delivery attempt and three collection cards have been delivered to your address and you have made no contact with the postal service they will return the item to the sender. This is a rare occurrence but can happen as the postal service will make a considerable effort to contact you and also the supplier before returning products to the origin of supply. In this situation you would be responsible for any re-delivery costs.

Packaging of Products
At Fairing Solutions we take lots of care to make sure every item that leaves our partner factory in China is packaged and boxed carefully. All panels and items are individually wrapped in a protective shock proof wrapping and then also have extra packing placed in all spaces to stop parts and panels from moving inside the box.

We also ship all items using thick walled boxes’ made of a tougher grade of cardboard to stop items from being crushed or damaged in transit.
